Gokul joined Tevard Biosciences in the Fall of 2023 as a Research Associate. He obtained an MS in Biomaterials Science from NYU College of Dentistry in May 2023. With over 4 years of work experience in academia in various disciplines, he most recently worked with Prof Nigel Bunnett’s group at the Pain Research Centre at NYU largely on projects related to elucidating pain in the context of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and testing novel treatment modalities both in vitro and in pre clinical mice models. His expertise lies in primary neuronal cultures and testing different biomaterial based drug delivery systems in mice. His interests include watching broadway shows, exploring new cuisines, and pottery.
