Sean joined Tevard Biosciences in 2018 as a member of the in vitro team and as the company’s initial sole bioinformatician. His recent work has focused on contributing to the development and optimization of high-throughput screening assays and on laying the groundwork for in silico tools and models that can accelerate engineering of therapeutically attractive tRNA. He co-chairs the company’s party planning committee, where he prides himself on always making sure there is a cake when “IT IS YOUR BIRTHDAY.”

Prior to joining the Tevard team, Sean completed his PhD in Bioengineering in the UC Berkeley/UCSF Bioengineering program and further honed his computational skills as a postdoctoral researcher at Boston Children’s Hospital.
